In 2015, Yuqi and Valters came to O‘ahu to work, explore, and experience the island’s culture. They met while working in restaurants and quickly became close friends - connecting with locals, learning Hawai‘i’s history, and discovering the true meaning of aloha.
After returning home, they both knew one day they’d come back - to give back to the island that has shaped their lives in so many ways.
In November 2024, that vision became reality when they returned to Hawai‘i and co-founded WASHD - a locally owned, eco-friendly car care company delivering professional detailing straight to O‘ahu’s residents.
